About Us
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sailaway from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain

Hostess and Chef Ingrid:
Of German decent and raised in Cajun country where the mantra is: Fun, Food, Friends.
Ingrid's hobby is people and turning life into a party. Hospitality and the comforts of her guests is a top priority. In tune with Captain Terry, the goal in this partnership is to create a memorable experience and perhaps some new family traditions. "Every sailing charter should be designed with the guests preferences". Perhaps an emphasis on meals pared with interesting wines, or more time spent exploring islands, maybe a "pamper day" at one of the local spas followed by some shopping and lunch.
Our experience has shown that once a guest is on board, decompression occurs rapidly. Life is simple in the islands and each day has its own surprises. A turtle sighting, dolphins playing, meeting interesting people from around the world at local establishments, a beautiful sunset, you never know what is over the next wave.
Captain Terry
The proverbial kid with salt water in his veins.
Terry grew up on the west coast of Florida and was sailing and diving with his parents when other kids were out riding bikes. Terry's parents were both avid sailors so the traditions started early. A career in high tech introduced him to the business world and gave him exposure to international clients and customs. Strong communication skills, a good business plan, and a high degree of nautical expertise and training combine to give guest confidence and help create the "fun" adventure that the crew of Manana, Maybe” strive for.
Terry has years of experience sailing the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, Sea of Cortez, a Transatlantic crossing and other offshore adventures mixed in. He is a U.S. Merchant Marine Officer and Master of sailing vessels of up to 50 registered gross tons.
